Mother-Daughter Tea Time is May 4

Temple Terrace is setting up for its annual ladies-only party.

Mothers, daughters and grandmothers are invited to sip tea, enjoy light refreshments and spend quality generational time together at Temple Terrace’s Mother-Daughter Tea.

The annual event, hosted by Parks & Recreation, is scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2-4 p.m. at the Lightfoot Recreation Center.

This year’s theme is inspired by the 2013 Kentucky Derby, so guests are encouraged to wear fancy hats, according to a city press release. There will be arts and crafts projects, and plenty of other fun, too.
