Only a Few Woman's Club Calendars Left

Club members are still selling their 2012 calendars, but quantities are limited.

The GFWC Temple Terrace Woman’s Club has been selling their 2012 β€œTemple Terrace…Now and Then” calendars since October.

They started with 300. Now, they’re down to about 20.

β€œThis year, it’s just really cool,” said club member Elaine Coniglio of the calendars. They include historic photographs of Temple Terrace matched with current pictures at the same locations taken by members of the club or donated by residents.

The Woman’s Club puts calendars together every year and sells them to raise money for their volunteer efforts. This year’s calendars cost $8 and pocket planners cost $3. Both can be purchased together for $10.

The GFWC Temple Terrace Woman’sΒ Club is devoted to community service, personal growth and the development of friendships, Long said. As members,Β they work together in the spirit of friendship and service to better the quality of life in Temple Terrace. The club meets from January to May and August to December on the fourth Wednesday of the month.
