Pedestrian Seriously Injured Near Fowler Avenue, 30th Street
Tampa Police and Fire Rescue units were on the scene Tuesday night.
A pedestrian was seriously injured near the intersection of Fowler Avenue and 30th Street Tuesday night after he was hit by a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier.
The pedestrian was attempting to cross Fowler Avenue from south to north at approximately 7:45 p.m., according to Lt. Stephen Hartnett of the Tampa Police Department. He sustained head trauma and was taken by helicopter to St. Joseph’s Hospital.
The driver of the car was not injured.
