Residents Invited to Tour Nature's Classroom This Weekend
Nature's Classroom will host its annual Woods, Water and Wildlife open house event Saturday and Sunday.

If you've been wondering why your sixth-graders get so excited about visiting Nature's Classroom, here's a chance to find out.
Nature's Classroom at 13100 Verges Rd., Thonotosassa, is celebrating its Woods, Water and Wildlife open house event Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Parents and other members of the public are invited to tour the facility that's been providing environmental education to sixth-grade public school students in Hillsborough County for 43 years.

The event will feature student nature art displays, live music, children’s activities, animal handling, lunch food sales and a variety of environmentally focused exhibits and events.
Visitors also can enjoy their day outdoors and tour the animal collections and native plant areas. A donation of $5 per vehicle is requested.
