Saturday is Last Day to Vote Early

Early voting ends Jan. 28. Election Day is Jan. 31.

If you are planning to cast your ballot before the Jan. 31 election, you’re running out of time.

Saturday (Jan. 28) is the last day to in the Republican Presidential Preference Primary or on the . Anyone can vote on the city's referendum, regardless of party affiliation.

So far, nearly 16,000 people in Hillsborough County have voted early, according to the Supervisor of Elections Office. Early voting began Jan. 16.

“Early voting is a good, convenient way to cast your ballot,” said Earl Lennard, Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections. He said early voting is gaining in popularity because it’s easy.

Early voters can cast their ballots at any of the county’s 15 sites. The closest early voting location for Temple Terrace residents is the .

Voters can see how long the wait is at each of these sites by visiting the Supervisor of Elections website.

At the close of business Thursday, 1,035 people had voted early at the Temple Terrace Library, according to the Supervisor of Elections Office. Polls there are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
