Seniors Invited to Participate in Lightfoot Activities

The city of would like to invite seniors to check out the many great activities at the .

Activities scheduled for March include:

• Free hearing tests on March 2 provided by the Center for Hearing at 10 a.m.
• Silver Sneakers exercise classes every Monday and Thursday at 9 a.m.
• Arthritis Exercise classes every Tuesday and Friday at 9:30 a.m.
• Red Hat Club activities and outings
• Potluck dinner every Thursday at 5 p.m.
• 23rd annual Senior Expo on March 16 at the at 9 a.m.
• Day trip outings, including a trip to the Florida Strawberry Festival
• Shuffleboard
• Table Tennis
• Bunco
• Bingo
• Line Dance and Zumba lessons
• Ceramics and Painting Classes
• Yoga

Stop by Lightfoot for a monthly calendar of activities and events. Memberships for Temple Terrace residents age 62 and over are $64 a year. For non-residents, memberships are $128 a year. Scholarship options are available for seniors in need of financial assistance. Senior memberships also include access to the Family Recreation Complex.
