Sligh Avenue Closes at 22nd Street Beginning Tuesday

From the Tampa Water Department:

Both directions of East Sligh Avenue will be closed at the intersection with North 22nd Street beginning at 8 a.m. on Tuesday for Tampa Water Department crews to repair a broken water main. Marked local detours will be in place for all traffic approaching this intersection.

Repairs are expected to be complete by late Friday. Normal traffic patterns are expected to resume by 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 30, following road restoration, depending on weather conditions.

Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with traffic flow. Drivers should seek alternate routes during this period and use caution when traveling in
the area.
