Tampa Area Gets a Little Sweeter with New Nothing Bundt Cakes
Temple Terrace Native Opens Nothing Bundt Cakes in Town 'N' Country
Bakery Owners Mike Heuston and Amy Miller are excited to open their new bakery in Town ‘N’ Country. The two own multiple bakeries in Florida, including Tampa, Carrollwood and Wesley Chapel. Tampa is home for Mike who grew up in Temple Terrace and graduated from King High School, and Amy is thrilled to be raising her family here. “We love this area and are so excited about opening more bakeries here,” explained Miller. “With close ties to this community, we are all about celebrating the everyday wins of life and supporting our neighbors in all the ways we can through our delicious cakes.” The bakery, which opened mid-June will host grand opening events June 28 and 29 (see details below).
GRAND OPENING EVENTS
- Friday, June 28
- Humane Society of Tampa Bay Benefit Day – 20% of sales will be donated to this organization that provides shelter, adoptions, and hospital and TNVR services to homeless and at-risk animals.
- Saturday, June 29
- 10:30 a.m. - Free Confetti Bundtlet while supplies last (up to 300), plus DJ and a prize wheel for a chance to win great prizes!
Nothing Bundt Cakes is located at 11727 W. Hillsborough Avenue and is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 12 to 5 p.m. The concept combines the warmth of nostalgia with a fresh, modern approach. The luscious cakes are made with the finest ingredients, including real eggs, butter and cream cheese, in 40 unique designs and 10 delicious flavors.
