Tampa Family Conflict Center Opens
Rhonda Audia encourages you to fight your way to a better relationship.

From Rhonda Audia:
Rhonda Audia, MSW, LISW, is pleased to announce the opening of the Tampa Family ConflictCenter in Temple Terrace.
“Conflict is at the heart of all relationship stress,” said Audia. “People think their relationships should be conflict free but that’s impossible. They need to understand how to make their inevitable conflict work for them not against them.”

Audia describes herself as the Dumb Fight Specialist.
“Over my more than 25 years as a marriage and couples counselor, I have seen couple after couple having the same fight over and over again,” she said. “On the surface, it’s about something trivial because they don’t know how to communicate their real feelings. That’s a dumb fight.

“Couples need to understand that conflict is normal. Conflict is necessary for your relationship to be truly close and authentic. Conflict is not a problem, it is an opportunity to understand each other and make the relationship emotionally safe. Conflict is inevitable, but Dumb Fights are optional.
“We meet couples where they are—right now—in conflict and thinking their relationship is doomed. We give couples tools that can bring immediate relief from unproductive conflict and give them hope that their relationship can still have the passion and love it had when they first met.”
Even when it’s decided a relationship cannot continue, Audia said, it’s vital to teach divorcing couples how to regulate their emotions in such a high conflict environment. Unregulated conflict can slow the divorce process and be damaging to children exposed to it.
That’s why The Tampa Family Conflict Center also offers divorce counseling, divorce mediation and parent-child planning services.
“If you are tired of the same old arguments, the constant blaming, and the feeling of being alone in your relationship, you are stuck,” said Audia. “But you can get unstuck at the Tampa Family Conflict Center.”
The Tampa Family Conflict Center is located at 7320 E. Fletcher Avenue in Temple Terrace. Call 813-672-4048 for a free 15-minute consultation or visit the Tampa Family Conflict Center online.
