Temple Terrace Fire Under Investigation

TEMPLE TERRACE, FL — Hillsborough County Fire Rescue is investigating a Tuesday afternoon blaze that ripped through a home under renovation in the Temple Terrace area.

According to the agency, firefighters were called to the scene in the 8000 block of Sharon Drive around 3:15 p.m. April 11. When they arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from the rear of the home.

“Firefighters quickly attacked the fire, and searched the home for occupants,” an email from fire rescue said.

It took first responders about 20 minutes to knock the fire down, the agency reported. No one was injured in the blaze.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Temple Terrace Fire Rescue crews also reported to the scene to help knock the blaze down quickly.
