Temple Terrace Resident Meets Political TV Host

Sue Moore, of Temple Terrace, got to meet one of her favorite news commentators Saturday.

Chris Matthews, a political journalist with MSNBC who hosts “The Chris Matthews Show” and “Hardball with Christ Matthews,” is in town for the tonight at the . He was at the Tampa Tribune Auditorium Saturday to sign copies of his book, “Jack Kennedy: Elusive Hero.”

“I admire him very much,” Moore said of Matthews, adding she thinks he is “honest and fact-oriented.”

She said Saturday’s crowd was so large that there were people who couldn’t get into the room, so Matthews brought them up on stage.

“He signed every book,” she said.

The book signing was coordinated by Inkwood Books of Tampa.

Matthews was also at this morning to talk to students, TBO.com reported.
