Winter Wonderland Will Transform Woodmont Park

The park will take on a new look Saturday for the City of Temple Terrace's annual holiday event.

Temple Terrace is celebrating the holiday season, and everyone’s invited to join in the fun!

We’re kicking off the holidays with a family event that brings together three exciting activities: Winter Wonderland, Caroling in the Park, and the Lighted Golf Cart Parade.

The event is Saturday (Dec. 10) from 6 to 9 p.m. at , 407 Woodmont Ave., and across the street from the park along the golf course. Admission is free.

There will be hayrides, music, games, arts & crafts, a bonfire and other activities. Carolers will lead a sing-along of all your favorite holiday tunes, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Hot chocolate, coffee and other refreshments will be available at reasonable prices.

At 7:30 p.m., the Lighted Golf Cart Parade will begin, illuminating the night with colorful lights.

The last golf cart will ferry Santa Claus down Woodmont Avenue to the park gazebo, where he’ll greet children and give away free candy canes.

Any resident who owns a golf cart may participate in the Lighted Golf Cart Parade. Just spruce up your cart with lights, tinsel, candy canes or whatever strikes your fancy. There is no fee to participate; however, parade participants are asked to pre-register by calling Joel Spinks at 813-506-6600.
