Zephyrhills Motorcyclist Killed Near Fowler Avenue, 56th Street
The man lost control of his bike and then hit a motorist, according to police.

A Zephyrhills motorcyclist died in a crash just south of the intersection at Fowler Avenue and 56th Street Tuesday.
Daniel Ray Baker, 43, of 41520 Merrick Road was traveling southbound on 56th Street at around 6:15 a.m., Temple Terrace Police said in a media release. At Grandville Drive, he apparently lost control of his 1997 Harley-Davidson motorcycle and crashed.
βBaker then allegedly was struck by a white pickup truck driven by 59-year-old Michael Rubio of Tampa,β the release states. βBaker died at the scene, police said.β

Police interviewed Rubio and released him pending a follow-up investigation, according to the release. Both vehicles were impounded by the Temple Terrace Police Department for evidence.
