2 People Seriously Injured In Wrong-Way Crash On Veterans Expressway
A Kissimmee man has been arrested and charged with driving under the influence causing serious injuries.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a wrong-way crash that left two people with serious injuries on Thanksgiving Day.
According to the troopers, on Thursday at 1:45 a.m., an Infiniti Q50 was heading south in the northbound lanes of the Veterans Expressway when it struck an Acura TL nearly head on.
The driver of the Acura, a 21-year-old man from Trinity, and his passenger, a 22-year-old woman from Trinity, were rushed the the hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Infiniti, 45-year-old Ramon Luis Rivera of Kissimmee, received minor injuries and was later arrested by troopers and charged with driving under the influence involving serious injuries.
