Bryant Student Competing For "Ulitmate School Lunch Chef" Title
The Bryant 5th grader was one of five finalist chosen.

A Mary Bryant Elementary student is a finalist in the Hillsborough County's Cook It Up Challenge. The winner will receive tickets to see Justin Bieber perform.
Kayla Sieper, a 5th grader at Bryant, was selected as a finalist for her Veggie-Meatball “Soup”reme recipe.
Sieper is one of five students chosen from elementary schools across the district.

Sieper and the others will compete from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 17 in the Blake High School dining room. Each student is assigned a sous-chef, who is a student nutrition manager from their school. Whole Foods, an event sponsor, is providing the ingredients.
A panel of judges will score each student’s recipe based on taste, texture, creativity, and presentation. One student will be selected as Cook It Up’s “Ultimate School Lunch Chef” and receive the following prizes:

- Two tickets to the Justin Bieber Believe tour at the Amway Center in Orlando, Fla. on January 25, 2013;
- Their recipe will be featured on the district-wide school lunch menu;
- Appearance at Radio Disney ’s studio on the “Kid’s Concern Show,” a feature on Radio Disney’s website, and their name will be announced on the radio; and
- A school lunch party hosted by Radio Disney.
