Do You Know A Phenomenal Woman?

We all know them. They are the women in our community who work tirelessly personally, socially and professionally to make this world a better place.

Hillsborough County would like to honor them formally. Nominations are being accepted through Jan. 15 for it's 2012 Woman's Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Up to three nominees will be selected, and the winners will be announced at a Hillsborough County Commission meeting in March 2012, followed by an induction at a formal ceremony in May.

The Commission on the Status of Women created the Hillsborough County Women’s Hall of Fame to recognize women who have made significant contributions to the betterment of life for residents of Hillsborough County. The charter class of 10 accomplished women was inducted into the Women’s Hall of Fame on May 26, 2011, in a memorable ceremony.
