Dog owners in Tampa Bay can rejoice. A brand-new affordable doggie daycare and boarding resort has opened at 5413 Golden Drive, conveniently located near Veterans Expressway and Tampa International Airport.

Founded by pet mama Kimberly Robayna, Off the Leash Pet Care provides belly rubs and cuddles to your fur baby in a safe, home-like, cage-free environment. Open seven days a week, from 7 AM to 7 PM, the pet place provides monitored indoor and outdoor play areas for pets of all ages by a caretaker who is Pet-CPR licensed.

Pampered Pooches, pups, 5 months to under a year, Active Rough House - 1 to 6 years, and Lazy Days Retirement - senior dogs regularly rotate from indoor and outdoor playtimes, with a rest from noon to 1:30 PM.

Boarding pet guests are pampered by a staff of dog lovers who enjoy nothing more than to snuggle with the dogs the entire night. In your absence, your pets enjoy the same love and expert care that you would provide.

Kimberly grew up around pets, so when she was ready to retire from a thriving career in medical training, she decided to do to open a company that would allow her to spend her days and nights surrounded by what she loved most - dogs. First, she mastered dog obedience training and then she earned a license in pet CPR.

While earning her licenses, she spent months searching for a suitable location and renovated the property to create private suites based on age, a large outdoor play area, and a grooming station with a professional, high-quality grooming tub and blow-drying equipment. Pet parents can choose to add a bath and blow out to any daycare or boarding stay.

Only when she was satisfied that she’d created the perfect environment for her future pet families, did she open the door in January 2020.

To ensure the health and wellness and safety of all pet members, all dogs must be current on vaccinations and pass a temperament test to join the Off the Leash Pet Care family.

“As a pet parent, I know my biggest fear is how is my pet going to be treated after I drop him off? At Off the Leash Pet Care, we’re a team of animal lovers, and we want to give our pet guests the same treatment we give our own. We want you to know, when they’re with us, they’re not being kept cooped up in cages, ignored. We want them to stay healthy and active, well, excluding nap time,” Kimberly joked. “We want this to be your dog’s home away from home. We treat your pets like family because to us, they are family.”

Off the Leash Pet Care will host a community later in the year, introducing themselves to their neighbors and cementing their place in the community. Look for information on their website.

“The idea was to build a pet care company that felt like home to its pet guests. From 5 months old puppies to seniors in their golden years, this is their cage-free eco-friendly resort with inside and outdoor play, where pet safety is key, and kisses and cuddles are given freely.”

Off the Leash Pet Care is located at 5413 Golden Dr. in Tampa, off Veterans Expressway, and five (5 ) minutes from Tampa International Airport. Off the Leash Pet Care is open seven days a week, 7am to 7pm by appointment.
