Free Movies In The Park Offered By Hillsborough County Recreation
Hillsborough County is offering free Movies in the Park, an outdoor family-friendly event.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Parks & Recreation is offering a series of outdoor movies at venues throughout Hillsborough County.
Some of the films, which play on Friday nights through January, have themes corresponding with upcoming holidays.
The movies are free of charge and begin at 7:30 p.m. Families should bring chairs, blankets and snacks.

An HD projector displays the movies on a 30-foot inflatable screen. Some locations will have food trucks or light refreshments available for a donation to the nonprofit Friends of the County Parks.

- Nightmare Before Christmas Oct. 28 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Ruskin Recreation Center, 901 6th St. SE.
- Encanto Nov. 4 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Roy Haynes Recreation Center, 1902 South Village Ave.
- Space Jam: A new Legacy Nov. 18 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Gardenville Recreation Center, 6219 Symmes Road.
- Home Alone Dec. 2 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Brandon Recreation Center, 502 E. Sadie St.
- A Christmas Story Dec. 9 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Northdale Recreation Center, 15550 Spring Pine Drive.
- Minions 2 Jan. 20 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Keystone Recreation Center, 17928 Gunn Highway.
- Sing 2 Jan. 27 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Kenly Park, 3101 N. 66th St.
