WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources will officially open its state-of-the-art Wesley Chapel District Park Recreation Complex with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, Aug. 27, at 10 a.m. followed by a grand-opening celebration Saturday, Aug. 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The $4.8 million facility, funded with park impact fees, adds a double gymnasium and recreation center to the 144-acre park, making it the largest combination indoor/outdoor county park facility in Pasco County and the first rec center to be built in Pasco in 30 years.

Both events will be held at Wesley Chapel District Park, 7727 Boyette Road, Wesley Chapel.
