Pia's Is The Newest Addition To Westpark Village
The well known Tampa spa has moved from its old location to a bright airy spot in the heart of Westchase
For the past five years Westchase has known Pia's Esthetics Day Spa for it's great Brazilian waxes and manicures. Now the spa will also be known for it's new visible location.
Today marked the opening day for Pia's in Westpark Village. The spa (formerly located on Whitmarsh Lane) is now located at 10116 Montague St.
"We always wanted to be in this shopping center but nothing was available," said Pia Trujillo, who owns the Westchase spa with her husband Andres Hernandez.

Spa goers milled in and out of the location Tuesday while staff put the finishing touches on the building. The spa's decor is very spring in bloom with bright citrusy painted walls and tropical accents like Hibiscus flowers and soothing bamboo plants.
The first Pia Esthetics Day Spa opened about seven years ago in South Tampa. A location in Winter Park followed by a franchised location in Westchase about five years ago, Trujillo said. A new location recently opened in St. Petersburg as well.

Last year the Westchase franchise owner sold the spa back to Trujillo. Around the same time the old location's lease ended. Trujillo was happy to find a space available in Westpark Village.
"We try to create the same experience you would get at all the Pia Spas" Trujillo said. "We want customers to know it's a place run from the heart."
Jill Schwartz, property manager for Westpark Village, said the spa is a good addition to the area.
"The more foot traffic we have, the better," Schwartz said. "Someone coming there might find a new place to eat or a new place to get their hair done."
