Schapiro: Started June 2011. We are located at 11967 Sheldon Road.
Patch: Please describe what you do. Do you have partners?

Schapiro: We are a retail wine store and an on-premises wine and beer bar. We specialize in finding great value wines at all price points for our customers; while giving them access to an advanced wine professional certified by the Culinary Institute of America. We also carry a wide variety of wine, art, gifts, etc.
Patch: What has been the biggest challenge as a business owner?
Schapiro: Getting our name out to new customers to share our unique wine purchasing experience.
Patch: What's the best piece of business advice you've received?
Schapiro: Keep true to your goals and share your passion with your customers.
Patch: What's the most rewarding thing about being a business owner?
Schapiro: Helping our customers learn to appreciate and experience new wines they otherwise may not have known.
Patch: What encouragement would you give another person venturing out on their own or on their own and facing difficulties?
Schapiro: Measure your progress by the distance you've come, not by the short-term challenges just ahead.
