- The Master Gardener is at the this Tuesday, May 4, 6:30pm-7:30pm with the seminar titled "A Garden of Bright Ideas." Learn how to make your garden a showplace by adding creative touches and design elements such as inviting pathways, simple structures and trellises, a garden room, eclectic containers and theme garden areas. All simple and bright new ideas with easy maintenance. Library is located at 17808 Wayne Rd. in Odessa.
- It's First Friday in the neighoborhood, which means the plaza near and Maloney's Irish Pub will turn into a block party on Friday, May 4.
