TAMPA, FL — As Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies investigate a Monday morning auto burglary and theft spree in Westchase, they’re turning to residents for help identifying the juvenile males believed to be responsible. According to the agency, as many as five boys drove into the community in the early morning hours of April 17 and proceeded to break into vehicles. They're also accused of stealing two cars.

Deputies say as many as 15 vehicles were hit during the spree. The teens also managed to get keys for a gray 2012 Lexus RX300, tag number 753WBH, and a white 2001 BMW 528I, tag number 826LWW. They took both of those vehicles with them when they left Westchase, a Tuesday afternoon email from the sheriff’s office said.
