The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is sponsoring a safe boating class on February 7, 2026. The one-day class, called Boat America, covers topics that include:

- Before Getting Underway
- Operating Your Vessel Safely
- Legal Requirements
- Boating Emergencies
Classes are located at the Acworth Police Department, 4440 Acworth Industrial Dr. NW, Acworth, GA 30101. The fee for program materials is $35.00. Family discounts are available.
