Milton Listed As 8th Best Place to Live for Homeowners

The city of Milton is the eighth best place for Georgia home ownership.

That's according to an analysis done by NerdWallet, which examined 68 cities with populations exceeding 15,000 to determine if they had characteristics that were most favorable to home buyers.

In its analysis, NerdWallet reviewed if homes were available in the area, if residents could afford to live in that particular city and if the city is growing. 

NerdWallet notes Milton residents enjoy a monthly average of $9,741 in household income, has a median home value that exceeds $400,000 and has many parks and recreation offerings to keep citizens active and engaged. 

Nearby, Woodstock came in at 4th, Johns Creek scored 6th, Acworth ame in at 11th, Kennesaw ranked 13th, Canton clocked in at 16th and Alpharetta came in at 20th.
