Brenau University Announces Fall 2012 Dean's List

GAINESVILLE, GA — Some local area students were named to the Dean's List at Brenau University for the fall 2012 term.

They are:

• Amber C. Boyd from Winder, Ga., whose major is business, is a junior at Brenau.
• April Leigh Chester from Winder, Ga., whose major is special education, is a senior at Brenau.
• Katherine Mary Mantle from Auburn, Ga., whose major is nursing, is a junior at Brenau.
• Abigail M. Rodriguez from Winder, Ga., whose major is nursing, is a senior at Brenau.
• Alaina Karen Troha from Auburn, Ga., whose major is studio art, is a freshman at Brenau.
• Melody Brooke Whittington from Winder, Ga., whose major is nursing, is a senior at Brenau.
• Nallie Xiong from Statham, Ga., whose major is health science, is a senior at Brenau.

Brenau collaborates with Gainesville State College in the Gainesville Theatre Alliance, which for three decades has brought high-level drama and musical performances involving students, community theater amateurs and professionals to stages at the two institutions.

Dean's List students must maintain at least a 3.6 grade point average while carrying at least 15 semester hours of course work.
