Piedmont College Announces Spring Academic Honor Recipients from Barrow

DEMOREST, GA — The following students have been awarded academic honors for the recently completed spring semester at Piedmont College.

Students named as Dean's Scholars for the semester have earned a perfect 4.0 grade-point average, and students named to the Dean's List have earned a grade-point average of 3.5 to 3.99.

• Stephanie A. Hamner of Auburn was named as a Dean's Scholar
• Amanda J. Ford of Statham was named as a Dean's Scholar
• Richard D. Etheredge II of Winder was named as a Dean's Scholar
• Stephanie A. Langley of Winder was named as a Dean's Scholar
• Amy M. Pippin of Auburn was named to the Dean's List
• Sydney E. Geiger of Statham was named to the Dean's List
• Daisy Xiong of Statham was named to the Dean's List
• Mai K. Xiong of Statham was named to the Dean's List

Piedmont College is an independent liberal arts college of about 2,600 students with campuses located in Demorest and Athens, Ga. Founded in 1897, the college offers undergraduate degrees in 50 major areas and graduate degrees in education and business, including doctoral degrees in education.
