Barrow County School System Fine Arts Festival 2013

This year’s Fine Arts Festival will take place Monday, April 22, through Friday April 26, at the Winder Cultural Arts Center. This event allows the school system to showcase the artistic and creative talents of many of its students. The grand opening ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. Monday, April 22, and will include a performance from the Winder-Barrow High School Brass Ensemble.

Student artwork from every elementary, middle and high school will be on display at the Cultural Arts Center. The center will be open to public to view the displays from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, April 22, through Friday, April 26.

Additionally, musical and dramatic performances are scheduled throughout the week. These performances will take place in the Colleen O. Williams Theater at the Winder Cultural Arts Center.

All faculty, staff, students, families, friends and supporters of the arts and of education are encouraged to tour the art displays and enjoy the entertaining performances during this festival.
