Event at Road Atlanta Raises Funds for Tripp Halstead
View photos from the event, which was attended by world-record holder Greg Cochran.
Personal trainer and world-record holder Greg Cochran was at for Tripp Halstead, the Barrow County toddler who was critically injured when a large tree limb fell on him last October.
Cochran set out to pull two all-new Nissan Pathfinders from Carriage Automotive Group. Thanks to Rebecca Cameron for sharing photos of the event. You can also click here to watch video of Cochran pulling the vehicles.
According to Cameron, corporate donations from the event are still being totaled.

"I do know that we brought in over $1,600 in cash donations from people combined from Road Atlanta and at Loco's Grill and Pub in Winder from the after party that night," Cameron wrote in an email to Patch.
Event organizers are still selling "Pulling for Tripp" t-shirts for $12. Details are available at www.wdun.com/pulling-for-tripp.

Cameron added that Cochran is scheduled to participate in another fundraiser for Tripp Halstead on Saturday, June 22, at Coolray Field before the Gwinnett Braves game. The plan, according to Cameron, is for Cochran to flip a 555-pound tire as many times as he can during a 15-minute time period.
