Man Says Girlfriend Attempted to Run Him Over, She Says He Struck Her with Plastic Bowl
The couple reportedly started arguing about the clutch going out in the woman's vehicle.

A deputy with the Barrow County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of Tanners Bridge Road in Bethlehem on April 9 after a man reported his girlfriend attempted to run him over with her vehicle.
The complainant said he and the woman had left Walmart in Winder driving back to Monroe when they began arguing over the clutch going out in her vehicle and she stopped and ordered him out of the car. The man said he called his sister to pick him up and started walking, at which time the woman pulled alongside him several times asking him to get back in the vehicle before reportedly attempting to strike him.
The man told the deputy he wishes to press charges.

When the deputy spoke to the girlfriend over the phone, she said they had been arguing all day over the clutch and she had become even more upset when he suggested taking a different route to Monroe, one with fewer hills. The argument culminated, she said, when the man struck her with a plastic bowl that was inside the vehicle. At that point, she told him to get out of the car. She denied trying to run him over.
