More Bushes Snatched From Grounds of Racecar Manufacturing Facility
Holly bushes and Knockout roses were taken.

Once again a thief has uprooted plants from the grounds of a Braselton Highway business.
On Oct. 19, a Barrow County Sheriff's deputy was dispatched to Panoz in response to a report of stolen plants. The owner of a landscaping business doing work at the facility said someone had dug up six plants -- four holly bushes and two Knockout roses -- sometime between 4 p.m. on Oct. 18 and 8 a.m. on Oct. 19.
"I observed empty holes in the flower bed where the plants had been removed. The plants appeared to have been dug up with some form of tool," the deputy noted in the report.
The total value of the purloined shrubbery was estimated at $150.
