Gwinnett Place Eatery Fails 5th Inspection of 2015

Go Gi House has only been open since January, but inspectors keep finding major violations.

A Gwinnett Place Mall-area restaurant that failed four previous health inspections this year, carded another one this week.

According the health department records, Go Gi House, located at 3490 Gwinnett Place Drive near Duluth, graded 55 (out of 100) in an inspection on Oct. 28.

“Your permit has been suspended for receiving ‘U’ grades on two consecutive routine inspections,” the inspector wrote in the report.

Since opening in January, Go Gi has failed five inspections, according to records, including these previous scores:

The restaurant did pass two follow-up inspections this year: 84/B on Aug. 26, and 80/B on March 31.

Among the violations cited in the most recent inspection were food storage and preparation temperatures, holes in the walls and ceilings, fruit flies and house flies and leaky pipes.
