Gwinnett Teen Killed In House Party Shooting ID'ed

Gwinnett County Police have identified the 17-year-old boy they say was fatally shot at a house party.

BUFORD, GA — Police have identified the 17-year-old boy who was shot and killed during a weekend house party in the 2700 block of Brown Road.

Gwinnett County Police on Monday said the shooting claimed the life of Jayden Long, of Loganville.

The shooting occurred around 2:15 a.m. Saturday. Officers attempted chest compressions on Long, but police said he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A motive in the shooting was not released, and police did not identify a suspect. Gwinnett Police's Homicide Unit is investigating the case.
