More Adam Sandler Filming in Buford

Another store plans to shut down for "Blended."

Another Buford retail store is shutting down for filming of the Adam Sandler movie "Blended."

According to a news release, the Dollar General store on 60 Garnett Street in Buford will shut down Friday (July 26) at 6 p.m. for filming. The shutdown is to last through Saturday, the release said.

The store is to be disguised for filming as Johnson's Hometown Pharmacy -- another Buford store where filming for the movie occurred earlier this week, the release said.

Dollar General apologized to customers for the disruption, and said they could shop at the company's store at 936 Gainesville Highway.

"Blended", a Warner Brothers movie, will be filming in the Buford and Lake Lanier areas through mid-August. Filming also occurred inside the Mall of Georgia this week.
