Twitter Goes Public This Morning, Are You in?

When the markets opened Thursday morning, Twitter became a publicly traded company.

Twitter is going public with shares priced at $26. At that price, the value of the company is reported to be in the $18.24 billion range.

Twitter Inc. originally planned to price shares between $17 and $20 for its IPO, according to Boston.com. The company raised the range on Monday to $23-$25 per share.

Twitter began trading Thursday morning under the symbol “TWTR.”
