Bike Skills Park Set To Open At Haw Creek Park

The new skills park for youth riders will be unveiled during Haw Creek Bike Fest event.

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA β€” Forsyth County Parks & Recreation will be opening a bike skills park at Haw Creek Park (2205 Echols Road) on Saturday, Oct. 27 as part of the Haw Creek Bike Fest. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will include bike skills clinics, prizes, local bike vendors and free food.

The bike skills park is an area designed specifically for riders between the ages of 3-11 and features a pump track, tot track and technical trail features that are found on most mountain biking trails. Families are invited to bring their bikes to enjoy the skills park and existing trails.

β€œWe look forward to offering this unique amenity at Haw Creek Park,” said Parks & Recreation Director Jim Pryor. β€œIt will provide a fun and safe place for children to improve their biking skills.”
