Board Of Commissioners Proclaim Oct. 23-29 As Family Promise Week

During their Oct. 20 meeting, the Board of Commissioners proclaimed Oct. 23-29 as Family Promise Week in Forsyth County.

Family Promise of Forsyth County, Inc. is an organization that strives to help children and families currently experiencing homelessness in the County.

Nearly 700 students are currently identified as homeless in the Forsyth County School system.

The Board of Commissioners recognizes Family Promise’s work and encourages residents to spread awareness on the issue of homelessness in Forsyth County.
