Theofilis is a 17-year-old high school student and Senior Patrol Leader in Boy Scouts Troop 62. He earned the Eagle Scout distinction after completing his Eagle project which consisted of beautifying the Parish Life Center at his church, Sts. Raphael, Nicholas, and Irene Greek Orthodox Church.

Theofilis states the most important lesson that was reinforced at each stage of his Eagle Project was leadership after being a speaker at the Church’s parish council board meeting selling the board on his vision, raising all project costs, acquiring all necessary tools and equipment, coordinating workdays and most importantly, leading his team and as a group to bring the project to life.

The Board is proud to have dedicated students like Alexander Theofilis who aspire to reach the highest level of achievement in their chosen hobby or passion.
