Cagle's Family Farm Opens Labor Day Weekend

This year's attractions include the corn maze, hayride, pig races and more.

It's time toΒ bump along on an old-fashioned hayride, bounce on a huge jump-ee pillow, cheer on your favorite swine at the pig races, pan for gold, navigate the three miles of cornfield maze paths, pick a pumpkin andΒ chow down on farm food when Cagle's Family Farm opens for theΒ season on Aug. 30.

This year marks the 13th year the Cagle family has created aΒ corn maze.

"The maze design this year is an image of what kind of fall fun the farm has to offer such as pumpkins, hayrides, pig races, cows and more," explains Vicki Cagle, who along with her husband, Ben, operate the farm. β€œWe look forward to this time every year, as we get to see familiar faces of families who make it an annual tradition to visit the farm, but lots of new faces too!” said Ben, in a press release. Β β€œIt makes it all worth it to see families having fun together!” added Vicki.

The Cagle family has been farming in Cherokee County since the 1930's - and Ben and VickiΒ continue the tradition today with their agri-tourism attractions and tours. The Cagle’s also host school group field trips during the week.

The farm, which is located about 23 miles from downtown Cumming, will be open to the public Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Nov. 17. School group tours are held by reservation only; call for more information Β atΒ 770-345-5591 or visitΒ www.CaglesFamilyFarm.com.Β
