CUMMING, GA β€” The American Red Cross is offering blood and plasma donors a chance to win tickets to the Super Bowl and a home theater package during January.

Blood donations typically wane during the holiday season, but the shortage is being compounded by the ongoing challenges of the coronavirus pandemic, according to the Red Cross.

People who give blood or plasma during January will automatically be entered to win two tickets to Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles, California. The package includes round-trip airfare, entry to the official NFL tailgate event and three-night hotel accommodations, plus a $500 gift card for other expenses.
