Collection at Forsyth Hosting Back to School Bash

Shopping deals, children's events, live music and more will be on tap when The Collection at Forsyth hosts its Community Back-to-School Celebration on Saturday, July 27, from 2 to 7 p.m.

Taking place two weeks before Forsyth County Schools students return to school, The Collection at Forsyth has partnered with area businesses to host the event. These community partners will have booths with organization information as well as activities. 

Attendees can also bring new school supplies with them to donate to underserved Forsyth County students. Donations will be accepted July 25 through 27, and can be dropped off at the Concert at The Collection on July 25; the leasing office, located near PeachMac and Justice; or at the July 27 event. Donors will be entered to win a trip for two to Florida.

“We are excited to bring the community together before the school year starts,” said Joe Turnbaugh, property manager, The Collection at Forsyth, in a press release. “This will be a great opportunity for us to collect school supplies for Forsyth County students, and to help our customers get ready for the new school year.”
