County Recognizes Brandon Kenney For Service As CIO, Assistant Manager

Kenney began his service as CIO in 2016, later assuming a joint role as assistant county manager in 2021.

During their March 2 meeting, the Board of Commissioners recognized Brandon Kenney for his service as chief information officer (CIO) and assistant county manager.

Kenney began his service as CIO in 2016, later assuming a joint role as assistant county manager in 2021. During his tenure as CIO, Kenney managed the County’s information technology initiatives, including a complete redesign of the County website.

His leadership and dedication to innovative technology practices earned him recognition as a finalist for the Georgia CIO of the Year Award in the Nonprofit/Public Sector category. As assistant county manager, Kenney oversaw the Planning & Community Development, Parks & Recreation, Senior Services, Code Compliance, and Animal Services Departments.
