Cumming Communications Department Wins NACIO Awards

During their Jan. 5 meeting, the Board of Commissioners recognized the Communications & External Affairs Department for winning several awards from the 2022 NACIO competition.

The annual National Association of County Information Officers (NACIO) competition highlights the contributions of government communicators from counties and state associations across the United States. The Forsyth County Communications & External Affairs Department placed in several categories including first nationally for Feature News Writing, second nationally for best Logo Design and E-Newsletter, and third nationally for best Brochure and Annual Report.

The Board of Commissioners congratulates the Communications Department for their award-winning work and national recognition as well as for their commitment to accuracy and integrity in communicating information to the public.
