Cumming Superheroes Run and Walk for a Great Cause
More than 750 participants showed up this year for the annual Superheros Run and Walk to support CASA of Forsyth County.
A beautiful Saturday afternoon was the background to the annual CASA Superhero 5K Run held at Fowler Park on February 23. More than 750 runners and walkers helped raise $25,000 to help support the programs of the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Forsyth County.
“The CASA Superhero Run was fabulous and a huge success," said Janet Walker, executive director of the program. "We were so pleased to have more than 750 Superheroes out to support the CASA program. The $25,000 raised will help train and support the volunteers who advocate for the needs of the abused and neglected children in our community."
