Cumming Teens Charged with Burglary, Auto Break-Ins

The teens are suspected of taking items valued at more than $4,200.

Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with a burglary and two auto break-ins in west Hall County, authorities said Friday.

Ryan Hickman, 17, and Freddy Lora, 18, both of Cumming, along with Charles Westfall, 17, of Gainesville were arrested on Oct. 9, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office. All three have been charged with two counts each of entering auto and one count each of burglary.

The alleged crimes occurred on Sept. 15 after sheriff’s deputies responded to the 4900 block of Goddard’s Ford Road in nearby Gainesville regarding a report of a burglary and thefts from cars.

During the course of the investigation, authorities were able to recover items related to the crimes, including a Honda dirt bike valued at $3,000, a laptop computer valued at $1,200, and other items valued over $500. All of the recovered property was identified and returned to the rightful owners.

Hickman, Lora and Westfall are out of jail each on a $22,000 bond.

The incident remains under investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division.
