CUMMING β€” Speed factored into a Windermere Parkway crash that killed a Cumming woman Tuesday afternoon, the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday.

Authorities said a 2011 Honda Accord heading southwest around 3:15 p.m. on Windermere near Osterly Way failed to negotiate a curve during the single-vehicle crash. The Accord left the roadway and hit a fence and tree, authorities said.

Kelsey Duttenhofer, 28, who authorities said was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene, the sheriff's office said.
