Digital Bookmobile Visiting Cumming Tuesday
The bookmobile has digital reading devices, portable media players, and much more.
The Cumming Library will showcase the power of digital library services when the OverDrive, Inc. Digital Bookmobile National Tour rolls into town on Tuesday.
The bookmobile is a one-stop shop for patrons wanting to check out ebooks for their iPads, Nooks, Kindles, and more. The Tuesday event will feature interactive demonstrations, instructional videos, and a gadget gallery containing some of the most popular e-readers, the Forsyth Herald says.
Apart from the gadget gallery, the bookmobile also has portable media players, monitors, and premium sound systems that allow patrons to experience the latest in the Forsyth County Library’s digital collections.

The library is becoming a hotspot of activity as Halloween approaches; last weekend, patrons celebrated Star Wars Reads Day and were visited by Imperial Stormtroopers, got to make Star Wars-themed crafts, and take part in a costume parade.
