Driver Accused Of Wielding Knife In Cumming Road Rage Incident Charged
The man was shot in his hand during the Tuesday incident at Post Road, authorities said.

CUMMING, GA β A 34-year-old Cumming man is facing charges after being accused of punching another man and wielding a knife at him during an act of road rage Tuesday at Post Road.
The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office accused Tyler Leikam of aggravated assault, criminal damage to property and battery in connection with the incident.
Authorities said a man had been driving behind Leikam, who was driving a black SUV, when Leikam "brake checked him."

While the two were stopped at a light, Leikam was accused of rolling down a window and yelling obscenities at the man, authorities said.
Leikam was accused of leaving his SUV, approaching the man's vehicle and punching the man through the window. Authorities said Leikam then took a knife from his pocket, stabbed the man's back tire and turned toward the man while holding the knife.

"The victim, in fear for his life, fired one shot at Leikam, striking him in the hand. At no point did the victim exit his vehicle," authorities said in a news release.
Leikam was arrested Wednesday night and was booked into the Forsyth County Jail, authorities said. Authorities did not say if the man accused of shooting Leikam's hand is facing charges.
