Early Voting for Cumming City Council Underway
Three city council seats are up for grabs in the November election, but you can cast your ballot early.

Cumming voters who are anxious to cast their ballots for their representatives on the Cumming City Council can vote early and beat Election Day lines.
Three seats on the council are on the Nov. 3 ballot, with two of the three seats having contested races. In post four, Christopher D. Light, Guy McBrayer, Dana M. Sexton, Jack Shoemake and Avery Stone are vying for the council, while Linda Ledbetter and Julie Tressler square off in post 5. Post 3 councilman and incumbent Lewis Ledbetter is running unopposed.
The early voting period lasts from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays from Monday through Oct. 30. Early voting takes place at Cumming City Hall.
