Ernst & Young Volunteers Reroute, Rebuild Forsyth Trail
The 18 volunteers helped reroute and build about 500 feet of new trail and rehabilitate another about 1,000 feet of trail.

Eighteen volunteers from several metro Atlanta offices and divisions
of Ernst & Young spent several hours on Friday, Sept, 20,
volunteering on the Indian Seats Trail at Forsyth Countyβs Sawnee
Mountain Preserve.
The volunteers helped reroute and buildΒ about 500 feet of new trail and rehabilitate anotherΒ about 1,000 feet of trail, according to the press release.
Due to the heavy rains this summer, several sections of the trailΒ needed to be either rerouted and rebuilt or rehabilitated. This workΒ was planned to be undertaken later this year, but the volunteersenabled it to be completed much sooner.
βNow our trail visitors have an improved trail route through that
area,β Outdoor Division Manager Matthew Pate said in the release. βThe volunteersβΒ assistance was greatly appreciated.β
